Sheyla Torres is earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from SUNY New Paltz. She is passionate about the interplay of identity, education, and contemporary aesthetics to create compelling and engaging designed narratives.

“She makes designs so awesome you would think they were done by two people.”
-her dad

During her years at SUNY New Paltz, Sheyla minored in anthropology, worked at the Center for Student Engagement, and was the President of Design Society. Needless to say, she kept herself occupied.

When Sheyla doesn’t have an Adobe software open, you can often find her in the bookbinding room organizing type, crafting ceramic jewelry in the Fine Arts Building, or coding websites in Science Hall.
