Sheyla Torres is a designer from New York
(surprise, surprise).

She graduated from SUNY New Paltz with a BFA in Graphic Design and a minor in Anthropology. 

She currently works as a Senior Product Designer at Transmit.Live, translating major brand campaigns into digital advertising experiences and building systems that streamline the creative work behind them.

Bodoni (Motion Design)


For this project, I designed an animated type specimen for the typeface Bodoni. Approaching it as a basic typography assignment, I considered both the historical and contemporary contexts of Bodoni. 

The focus was on innovation in motion rather than merely presenting historical research about the typeface.
