Viral (Photography)
In this series of five diptych photographs for my photography class, I explored the concept of "viral" by capturing popular internet challenges.
Moving away from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, I focused on the cultural phenomenon of viral challenges, including Chubby Bunny, Tide Pods, the Cinnamon Challenge, the Ice Bucket Challenge, and the Condom Snorting Challenge. Each diptych juxtaposes the absurdity and sometimes risk of these trends, reflecting on the impact of viral content in the digital age.
